Al Attara has helped hundreds of New Yorkers and hundreds of artists and entrepreneurs find success by providing subsidized work space at his iconic building at 33 Flatbush in Downtown Brooklyn, NYC, creating in the words of the New York Times "an unusually symbiotic work environment."

To continue delivering this benefit to the community, Al has established the 2Attara Foundation: a NY state registered nonprofit intended to own and manage 33 Flatbush and a rural property called “High Valley” in Clinton Corners, New York.

The mission of the 2attara Foundation is "to foster human creativity in the arts and sciences, through the provision of grants, subsidies, below market studio and office space and other means of support to individuals and organizations whose primary efforts are directed to the advancement of culture and science."

The Friends of 2attara Project's goal is to expand the 2attara Foundation's capacity to fulfill its mission.

This is fiscally sponsored by Sarapis, a New York-state incorporated, federally designated 501.c.3 nonprofit organization with EIN# 27-1074148.

Contributions to this project via Sarapis are tax-deductible.
